LS Fest West 2023: Tire Streets Hits the Road and Embraces the Drift

What's up, gearheads? Tire Streets hit the road again, this time for the LS Fest West 2023 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was a wild ride, filled with drifting, dust, and a whole lot of adrenaline-packed action. Despite some early speed bumps, we kept our foot on the gas and made the most of this epic event.

Event Overview:

The event revved up from April 28th to 30th, with our team setting up a 10x20 tent for activation. But hey, what's a road trip without a few unexpected twists? We faced shipping delays and a gnarly wind storm on the first day, but that didn't stop us from getting into the thick of things.

Day 1: Overcoming Challenges

The dynamic duo, Drew and Caitlin, hit the ground running, capturing all the action while Arley, our hired gun for activation, mixed it up with the crowd in the drift and autocross pits. The Tire Streets Drift Challenge was the star of the show, getting some serious airtime from the Drift Sessions team, who were responsible for commentary and streaming the entire event on their YouTube channel.

Day 2: Engaging with the Crowd

Day two saw us setting up our tent and drawing in the crowd. Our driver, Josh McGuire, parked his drift car in our tent, which definitely drew in a crowd. Our team was slinging lanyards and discount cards all day long. The Tire Streets Drift Challenge proved to be the highlight of the day again with a mix of Formula Drift Pro, Formula Drift Pro-Spec, and extremely talented grassroots drivers all duking it out for some prizes. The competition wrapped up with Ben Hobson edging out Matt Coffman in an insanely competitive final.

Day 3: Wrapping Up

The final day was all about the drivers, with drag, drift, and autocross all remaining wide open to cap off an amazing weekend. Our team kept the vibes on point in the drift pits and soaked up the action before packing up and heading off to the next stop of our tour.

Conclusion:

LS Fest West 2023 was one for the books. Despite a rocky and windy start, we kept our cool, engaged with the crowd, and captured some killer content. The high-octane driving and the edge-of-your-seat drift challenge were the highlights of this stop on our epic road trip. Buckle up because Tire Streets is just getting started.
