Drift HQ's 4th of July Drift 2023: A Tire Streets Event Recap

Kickstarting the Day

Drift HQ's 4th of July Drift at Atlanta Motorsports Park is fast becoming a must-attend event for the drifting community. This year, the Drift HQ team took things to the next level, delivering a full day of high-speed action. Savio Silva ensured smooth operations throughout the facility, Nick Swann managed the grid with precision, and a dedicated team ensured everyone had a fantastic time. Let's dive into the day from Team Tire Streets' perspective.

Detailed Driver's Meeting

The day began with a comprehensive driver's meeting led by Savio Silva and Nick Swann. They expertly explained the course layout, grid procedures, and flagging protocols for off-course vehicles or collisions. Once the meeting concluded, drivers headed to their vehicles and onto the grid.

Impressive Line-up of Drivers and Vehicles

The list of drivers and vehicles for this event was nothing short of impressive. Nate Hamilton and the 144 Racing team brought their freshly wrapped 240 to tackle the challenging elevation of AMP's course. Miles Flick showcased his S550 Mustang GT, shredding Accelera 651 Sports. The entire Drift HQ squad put on a thrilling display on the track. We also saw Adam LZ, Collette Davis, Hert, and T-Pain sending it up and down the hills of AMP.

Reflecting on a Successful Event

Our team ended the day feeling extremely grateful for our partnership with Drift HQ. They truly know how to organize an exceptional event that the entire community can enjoy. We're eagerly anticipating the next one.
