This is not a Joke we HAVE to take another Price Increase

The TL;DR: Yes I know we just took one but now our containers from earlier in the year have arrived and ocean freight prices are in another universe so here we are.

We wish this was April Fools, a Halloween prank, we would even take one of those IG business scams that never sends you what you order. At this point, we kind of feel like it’s comical. This year has been rough for everything and anything that has to do with supply. From production shortages, the Suze cannel, shipping containers shortages, ocean freight prices going to the moon, and order turn arounds of upwards of 6 months. We are tired. I think our customer service representatives are saying ‘Our tires are on the way and will be in the next two weeks or longer, actually we don’t really know when they will be here, but we know they are on the way.’ And ‘I am sorry we don’t accept pre-buys due to this issue’ in their sleep.

Yes, I know we just took one but now our containers from earlier in the year have arrived and ocean freight prices are in another universe so here we are. We are hoping that this is one of the last price increase we have to take on our consistently priced products like the Accelera 651 Sport and XTRA moving forward. And when I say moving forward, I mean at least until next year. Finger crossed and pray to whatever god or entity you believe in.

This is the part of this letter where I usually try to put a positive spin on it, you know the drill and what we offer. The only thing that is different is that we have Black Friday coming up. If you have been with us over the past 4 years you know this is our biggest sale of the year. Starting November 15th for Racer Perks members and November 22nd for everyone else all of our products will be on sale. Mark your calendars for that.
