Pre-Season Checklist.

We all know that getting ready for a season of shredding rubber can be stressful… exciting, but still stressful. There is so much to prepare for, not to mention getting your build back on the asphalt and ready to tear it up. That’s why we decided to help put together a small list of a few things that you need to prepare for… just in case, it slips your mind.

Tires

We are a tire retailer after all… there is no way this wasn’t our number 1. Buying at least the beginning of your season’s tire stock is one of the biggest things you can do to ensure you are ready for your first events.

With Tire Streets’ Bulk Buying program this cannot be any easier. We offer a tiered discount program that offers larger discounts with the more tires you order, eventually saving up to 30% off your entire order. If you need a little more arm twisting about why you should order in bulk check out our post about Why You Should Buy in Bulk. With savings and convenience like that, why not order all your tires at once?

TEST… TEST… TEST!

There is no such thing as being too prepared for a season, that is why you want to finish your build as early as possible. That way you can test everything and anything, in varying conditions.

You don’t want to be caught off guard whenever you skid further than you anticipated, or whenever you’re attempting the 3rd corner and you realize your suspension is way too stiff. By testing the crap out of your car early in the game, you can be prepared for whatever when it actually matters.

Sponsorships

Have you secured any sponsorships for the year? Many performance automotive companies offer sponsorships to drivers who have a large social media following and have the performance history to prove it.

Not only does a sponsorship provide cool details, and validation of a job well done, they also can save you a $hit ton of money. For instance, we offer competitive discounts up to free tires depending on our sponsorships, and discount codes to give out to your buddies. If you haven’t started looking by now, you better get on it before all the spots are taken. If you’re unsure if sponsorships are right for you, click here.

Don’t Procrastinate on Driver Passes!

Thinking you have time to scoop your driver passes for next season’s events? WRONG! Everybody else, more than likely scooped their passes the day they became available so they could start planning.

Building an action-packed schedule with no overlaps, breaks to fix your car, time to restock, etc. can be a challenge and it should not be something you brush off until the last minute.

Getting “Pit Ready”

Just like planning your season’s schedule is incredibly important, making sure you have everything you need in your pit is ready as well. That means making sure your team, your tools, and all the supplies you need are in tip-top shape and ready to go.

Organizing your pit is something that shouldn’t be taken lightly and should be planned out with precision. The last thing you need is to be packing up for an event and you realize you don’t have enough wheels for spares. You may think you’d never do that, but it can happen. If you aren’t “pit prepared” for the event, you might as well not run it at all.

While we know this is a very small list in the very large world of pre-season readiness, it was something to get you thinking in the right direction. While we really can’t do much to make sure you’re “pit ready” and prepared with your passes, we can make sure you stocked and ready to go with all the rubber you need for the season. When you’re ready to fill your racks, feel free to put an order together today. It’s never too early to make sure your stacks will be there for the season.
