Fuel Fest West Palm Beach Recap

What could be a better first stop for Tire Streets Road Trip 2023 than the Fuel Fest in sunny Florida?

Fuel Fest West Palm Beach has come and gone, but the Tire Streets team is still feeling the energy that was present all day long at the South Florida Fairgrounds. The day started with VIPs getting into the gate an hour early, right at noon, and we were immediately greeted by enthusiasts even before all of the show cars were parked and ready to go!

Our grand prize for the day was a Tire Streets branded cooler, and it was claimed by our VERY FIRST guest to spin our brand new prize wheel. From there, we really were off to the races. After the general admission gates opened up at 1 o’clock, the Tire Streets team was blown away by the amount of enthusiasts that came by to talk about everything tires and take a chance to win some awesome prizes. Everything from three different t-shirt designs, nobori flags, backpacks, cups, and bottle openers was up for grabs. At around 3 o’clock, Cody Walker (CEO and founder of Fuel Fest) came to the Tire Streets trailer and greeted fans, signed autographs, and watched as more enthusiasts took their chance to spin and win!

While we were hard at work, many of our friends were in the drift area putting on a show. US Drift Circuit worked extremely hard to provide a fifty-driver field of drift cars of all shapes, sizes, and sounds. Nick and Ryan from Taxi Garage were out on track shredding in their S14 and RX7, Drift HQ brought out their BMWs to put on a show, and Chris Jackson and the Jackson Performance crew were representing to the fullest. We even saw professional driver Chelsea Denofa on track in his RTR demo car. Enthusiasts were signing up to go for a ride-along in a drift car, and in-between ride-along sessions, sixteen drivers were battling it out in a top sixteen drift battle. Tire smoke was in the air all day long!

As the day winded down, Cody Walker and Tyrese Gibson made their way to the main stage to address the crowd before it was time for everyone to roll out. A special moment came just before 7 o’clock when John Naderi announced a rev-off in honour of the late Ken Block and to recognise coming up on the tenth anniversary of the passing of Paul Walker. The night went out with a bang, with the last EDM set being a banger as all the show attendees rolled out and the gates closed.

Fuel Fest West Palm Beach was a fantastic event filled with an incredible variety of vehicles, music, and drifting. If you joined us on Saturday, we want to say thank you for coming by and hanging out with team Tire Streets. The next stop of our road trip will be for Fuel Fest Texas, on April 15th, in Dallas, Texas.
