Alright, you already know that we started carrying Armstrong tires, and that we’re pretty stoked about it. So, what’s all the hoopla about?

Armstrong tires has been around since 1912 and has navigated the toughest roads that history has thrown at it. Whether they were competing against massive companies to create a niche of their own or are traversing the recession and gas shortages of the late 1970’s, Armstrong ploughed right on through to get to the top.

Known for making the grippiest and sturdiest tires, Armstrong made a name for itself during the mid-century allowing for impressive growth and expansion. After the devastation to the entire automotive industry caused by the gas-shortages of the 1970’s Armstrong adapted to stay afloat, and eventually was sold to Italian tire manufacturer, Pirelli.

After decades of being set aside, Armstrong was on the brink of dissolution when Zafco International stepped in to set the stage for a revival in 2017.

Armstrong is now back to making tires that are built to take a beating, and they aren’t shy about backing them with the industry-shattering, Built to Last – TUFF 360 Warranty.

Whether you are ripping through the off-road, cruising down route 66, or simply need a bad ass tire for your daily commute, Armstrong has what you need, and Tire Streets carries it.
